COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is designed for those who wish to continue their study into further training and eventually the professional world of musical theatre. This course focuses not only on the key elements of the HND but provides a full 35 - 40 hour week of training beyond HND unit class requirement along with a level of intensity of training and one-to-one training. So, this course includes not only HND units/classes but also includes extensive Practical technique and personal development classes, acting, singing and dance technique classes as well as personal one to one development.

Acting Skills 2: Developing acting skills using Stanislavski method.
Jazz for Musical Theatre 2: Developing advanced technical skills in Jazz Dance
Movement: Developing advanced physical skills using your body as actor and storyteller
Singing Skills 2: Developing advanced vocal technique, personal repertoire and finding your own voice
Performance Skills 2: Perform in fully staged musicals, pantos, reviews to public audiences
Vocal Techniques 2: Developing advanced voice skills as an actor and storyteller
Graded Unit 2: Prepare skilled songs and scenes for audition and performance
Professional Development for Actors: Prepare to develop relationships with agents, casting directors, technique and protocols, getting an agent, working with casting directors, how to make showreels, preparing for auditions, tax responsibilities
Score Interpretation for Musical Theatre: Learning how to read a interpret a score for audition purposes.
Practical technique and personal development classes.
Beyond HND Units, students also experience a full diet of practical classes as well as the unit classes below such as a weekly one to one singing lesson, daily jazz classes, contemporary acting workshops, acting through song classes, improvisation, commercial dance classes, group singing and harmony classes, musical theatre context, physical theatre.
Performance opportunities such as: cabaret events, corporate events, panto, musical theatre reviews, possible professional contracts.
